I Will Go is a song of response to the Great Commission, appropriate for any setting where personal responsibility to follow God’s will is the challenge. Doug has sung this solo across the country and recorded it on his At Jesus’ Feet album.
Easy vocal range with verse 1, chorus, and verse 2 in key of C, then transitions to key of Db for final chorus. Intensity builds in the verses to the chorus. The ending tag restates the prayer of commitment in quiet surrender.
